understanding Mt.
Mount is an area of land that has high striking difference with the surrounding area. A mountain is generally higher and steeper than a hill, but there kesamaaan, and use often depends on local custom. For example, Encyclopedia
Britannica defines the mountain if it has peaks over 2000 feet or 610 m.
Process of Mt.
Mount happen because of the style of tectonic processes at work in the Earth called orogenesis and epeirogenesis. In the process of this orogenesis collected sediments become deformed as it gets compressive force of the collision of tectonic plates. There are three types of tectonic plate collision between island arc plates and continents, oceans and continents, and between the continent by continent. Oceans and continental plate collision causing marine sedimentary deposits on the edge of the continental shelf. The collision between the continental plates island arc with lead plates ocean asthenosfir and infiltrate the layers of volcanic rock and sediments accumulate on the continent and become involved in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California in the Mesozoic era. While the continental plate collision with the continent is the process of formation of the Himalayas and the Ural system
While in the process of epeirogenesis a movement that form continents, working along the radius of the earth. This process is also called radial movement because the movement leads to or away from the center point of the earth and occurs in a very wide area so that the process is much slower than the process of orogenesis. Formation of lowland (graben) and plateau (horts) is one example epeirogenesis process.
Mountain-building processes take place according to the scale of the geological ranged between 45 450 million years ago. For example the Himalayas formed from 45 million years ago, whereas Appalache mountains formed from jutan 450 years ago.
Model of the mountain experience three levels of the process, namely:
1. The accumulation of sediment: layers of sedimentary and volcanic rocks piled up to a depth of several kilometers.
2. Changes in the form of rocks and removal of the earth's crust: the sediment that formed earlier deformation due to the compression force due to collisions between tectonic plates.
3. Appointment of the Earth's crust due to the movement of fault blocks: the collision between the plates will remove part of the earth's crust as folds higher than the surrounding areas, forming a mountain. Meanwhile, in case of tension or pulling force between the plates will be formed graben (valley)
Scheme Process of Himalayas
Before formed the Himalayas, the Indian plate movement occurs towards the Eurasian plate. Indian plate is composed of very old rocks 2-2.5 billion years. Color reference point is below the yellow box. Having undergone a long process of collision between the two plates is then partially lifted from the edge of the Indian plate which saw the yellow box to change the position to a more tinggi.Sehingga formed the Himalayas today.
Formation scheme Lowlands (Graben)
The earth's crust that were previously in equilibrium, a force tectonic opposite direction (style strain) by the pressure of the heat up, causing cracks (cracking). This tectonic process continues in geological time period long enough. Cracked block be dropped due to the attractive force of gravity to form
The series of mountain-mountain on Earth
Track circuit system on the earth mountains including Mount Cordillera, North America, the Andes, Alpin, Ural, Appalache, Himalaya, Caledonia and Tasmania. The figure below shows the circuit map Mount-Mount on Earth.
Biologists classify according to the height of the mountain is a mountain high, medium and low. The red color on the map indicates the high mountains like the Himalayas, the Andes, the color orange indicates a high mountain with a medium such as mountains Ahaggar in Algeria, while yellow indicates the low-altitude mountain like Meratus mountain in Kalimantan, Indonesia.

There are almost more than a hundred mountain ranges in Pakistan that are 8,000 meters above in height. From these hundred Pakistan has five high peaks that are listed in the top 14 highest ranges in the world. Most of the mountain ranges in Pakistan map are on the northern side of the country.
Pakistan is known as a hometown of high mountain Ranges of Pakistan in the northern side of the country. From the fourteen highest mountain ranges in the world, Pakistan owns the Five highest mountain ranges of them.
